We always try to facilitate an early check in where possible. However if a guest leaves on the same day of your arrival, you may not be able to check in until 4:00 p.m. / Nous essayons toujours de faciliter une arrivée plus tot quand c’est possible. Toutefois, si un invité part le meme jour que votre arrivée, votre arrivée ne sera pas possible avant 16h.

We always try to facilitate the leaving of luggage in the accommodation when possible. However, if a guest is arriving on the day you are leaving, we will ask you to remove your luggage at 11:30 a.m. If a very late check out is important to you, consider booking an extra night. Should you need to stay extra late because of a night flight, we ask you to consider booking an extra day for your convenience.

ATTN: A security deposit of 300 is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable, subject to a damage inspection of the apartment before checkout – please allow enough time before your departure. / Caution de 300€ demandé a l’arrivée, entièrement remboursable si tout est conforme avant le départ. Reservation Deposit

A deposit is required at the time of reservation to secure your dates, as follows:

  • For reservations made 3 weeks or more in advance of arrival = 25% of the total reservation (to be applied to your final bill) / Pour les reservations faites 3 semaines ou plus avant l’arrivée, un acompte d’environ 25% sera demandé pour securiser vos dates (appliqué à votre facture finale)
  • For reservations made less than 3 weeks in advance of arrival = 50% of the total reservation (to be applied to your final bill) / Pour les reservations faites 3 semaines ou moins avant l’arrivée, un acompte d’environ 50% sera demandé pour securiser vos dates (appliqué à votre facture finale)             

Our Contract with Our Guests

Reservations are taken on a first-come first-serve basis and, with your booking, you are confirming that you agree to our Terms and Conditions in consideration for us providing you with the property You are also confirming that you are over 18 years of age, and you are responsible for all persons who will stay in the accommodation with you and you take full responsibility for you and your party’s travel insurance.

Before you finalize your reservation with payment, you must verify the property’s full description on our online site http://manoirfontainedelamour.com to ensure the property fits your requirements. We cannot be held responsible for any descriptions from other external advertising websites. You agree that you take full responsibility to ensure you have done this before payment and do not hold us liable for any misinformation outside of our direct on-line site.

Confirmation of Reservation

Upon receipt of the reservation deposit, you will receive an email copy of your booking details and receipt of your payment. You will also receive all necessary information to ensure your smooth arrival to our property. We cannot be held liable for non-receipt of our email request.

If a deposit is not received within 48 hours of booking your reservation, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and release the dates for alternative booking. Should you need to change dates or cancel refer to Cancellation Policy below.

Inclusions and Exclusions in the Rental Rate

Linen and towels, internet access via Wi-Fi, and utilities are all included in the rental rate.

French Taxe de Séjour (legally required stay tax per person/per night), additional linen and towels, and extra services made on request are not included in the rental rate. Insurance for Guests’ personal items, such as luggage, valuables, and cash, is not included in the rental rate.

Damage and Utility Deposit

The acceptance of these Terms and Conditions means you agree to hold a security damage deposit at the time of reservation and upon arrival.  You further agree to us blocking an amount and taking valid payments where appropriate in relation to damage or loss.

By providing a security damage deposit to us you are authorizing us to charge it should this be necessary. We are entitled to charge to reimburse for damage or other losses for up to 2,500 Euro. All utilities are included in the rental price, however, should utility costs be excessive or films ordered during your stay, we reserve the right to charge for the excess amount plus an administration charge of 50 Euros.

The guest agrees to be a considerate tenant, respect the tranquility for neighbors’ sake, to take good care of the property, and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. We reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning costs, if the guest doesn’t leave the property in an acceptable condition. Acceptable condition means dirty dishes run in the dishwasher, fridge emptied, and all furniture in its original position. Utilities are included in the rental price, but please be considerate and avoid excessive use. For any films ordered during your stay, we reserve the right to charge your card for the amount plus a 50€ administration charge.

1 set of linens per bed and 1 set of towels per person are included in the price.  Any damage, loss, or missing towels and/or linens will be charged appropriately for replacement.

For any missing rental payments, we also reserve the right to charge from your Damage deposit.

All extra charges incurred for damage, replacement, additional cleaning or in general failure to comply with these conditions set forth will include an administration charge of 50€. In the event of a dispute, you will be charged, as we consider appropriate. The dispute will then be resolved through the normal legal channels.

Cancellation Policy

PLEASE TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE. It is the surest way to gain monies back in extraordinary, unfortunate circumstances, not only for property rentals, but hotels, flights, and any other bookings you may make for your travels.

A deposit is required to reserve your reservation dates. For cancellations, you will be refunded as follows: over 28 days before arrival, your money will be refunded; over 14 days before arrival, 25% will be refunded. Less than 14 days before arrival, there will be no refund. To comply with money laundering regulations, our refunds can only be made by direct payment back to you via online payment. In some cases, you may incur your bank’s small handling charge for this service.

Making Changes to Your Reservation

Should you need to change your reservation dates for the property, you may do so subject to availability and at the discretion of the property owner. Please contact us directly for any reservation modifications. If you shorten your stay, regardless of the reason, no refund will be offered.

Travel Insurance

Guests are strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party’s personal belongings, public liability etc., since these are not covered by the owner’s insurance. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you are confirming that you and your party have the necessary insurance and that you take full responsibility for the same.

Duty of Guests

The guests agree the rental is exclusively for their use and to not act in any way that would cause disturbance to those residents in neighboring properties. Any persons in the party who have caused/are causing damage, distress, danger, annoyance, nuisance, or disturbance to any neighbors or other residents in the vicinity are liable to be asked to leave or be evicted within 24 hours of being asked. Such action will not entitle the guest or any of their party to a refund of any monies.

The guests shall report to the on-site owner, without delay, any defects in the property or breakdown in the equipment, machinery, or appliances in the property, and arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible.

Unforeseen Unavailability

If the property becomes unavailable for any reason (such as emergency maintenance, failure of utilities or other problems), you will not be billed for the remainder of your stay. Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid to us. We will not be liable for any further claim.

Mechanical, Electric and Technical Failures

We cannot be held liable for any unforeseen mechanical, electrical, and technical failures such as television, cable service, internet connection, appliances, etc.  We will endeavor to fix the problem as quickly as possible.

Wi-Fi access is included in the rental. However, we offer no guarantees that the internet connection will be available for the duration of your stay. We cannot be held responsible for the non-compatibility of your laptop with the modem.

Utility Failure

We cannot be held liable for any unforeseen failure of electricity, water, or gas. In the event of failure that we are unable to rectify within 24 hours, a full refund will be offered to you and you will be required to vacate the property. Where possible, we will try our best to help you find an alternative property. As Wi-Fi is never charged as a surplus on rentals, no refunds will be applied and Wi-Fi cannot be guaranteed. We cannot be held responsible for the non-compatibility of your laptop with the modem.

Access to Authorized Personnel

The acceptance of these terms and conditions means you agree that persons authorized by us, including tradesmen and staff, may enter the property during your stay with us, to carry out necessary repairs and maintenance as appropriate. We will ensure as far as possible that you are notified of their arrival and will try as far as possible to arrange visits at a time convenient to you, to respect your privacy, and not interrupt your stay.


Manoir Fontaine de l’Amour is not liable for losses incurred through circumstances outside of our control. This includes, but is not limited to, accident or injury to any member of your party or visitors, loss or damage to any personal goods or property, travel delays, burglary, theft, nearby building works, noisy neighbors, bad weather conditions, war, earthquakes, riot, disturbance, traffic congestion, transportation strikes, and anything that causes a loss of enjoyment of the property.

For circumstances within our control, our responsibility is limited to the amount of rent paid to us.

We accept no liability for personal injury, claims, or damages for your misuse of any safety systems available on the property or negligence of use of stairs, balconies, terraces, wet floors, or any other everyday household hazards.

It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that the style, type, standard, and location of the accommodation chosen suits your purpose. All necessary information is on the website, and we are here to answer any questions you may have prior to booking. Our property is exclusively managed by us; however, we cannot be responsible for discrepancies on any sites other than our own site http://manoirfontainedelamour.com

 Pets & Smoking

 For allergy and hygiene reasons, we cannot welcome pets and the apartment is a non-smoking environment.  Therefore, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodation. We reserve the right to charge the guest card for all additional cleaning and damages incurred by the guest if the rule is broken.


The person providing their contact details at the time of booking shall be liable for the good behavior of all guests in their party. Failure to behave in a proper manner with respect for neighbors and property will be construed as a breach of our terms and conditions. Should complaints be received from neighbors or should there be any damage to the property (caused by you or your party), you will be asked to vacate.

Breach of Terms and Conditions

Should you breach our Terms and Conditions, your breach will terminate our agreement with you immediately. We will ask you to leave the property immediately. Should we ask you to leave under these circumstances, no refund will be offered. We will not be liable for any associated costs or further claims, and you will forfeit any damage deposit and prepaid rental.

Privacy Policy/RGPD 

This Privacy Policy outlines how your personal information is treated and forms part of our Conditions of Use.

We require your name and e-mail address so that we can contact you to respond to reservation inquiries. We respect your personal data, and therefore, never sell any information to third parties.

We may also use the information we collect to keep you updated with information about promotional offers and last minute availabilities; however, you can opt out at any time by requesting your email address to be removed.


In the event of a dispute between you and us, we will seek to resolve the dispute by mediation in the Courts of France.
